I’ve learned a lesson the hard way. My new ukulele, the Lanikai SZW-CCA, turned out to be very sensitive to changes in humidity. It’s with the great fellas at Ann Arbor Guitars to get a crack repaired because it was too dry. I purchased a few case humidifiers for that and my other “nice” ukuleles. Why does this happen right when you need that particular ukulele? I wish I’d followed the advice of all my musician friends at the beginning of the winter. 🙁
